It’s Christmas!!! Well, almost. Like in just a few days! Where has this year gone? Sometimes I felt like it went so slow and other times it just zoomed by! It’s fricking Christmas guys!
Anyway, because its Christmas, the theme for this weeks Top 3 Thursday is Christmas Reads. I don’t have specific books that I read at Christmas time, so these are the top 3 books that I associate with Christmas time 🙂
Little Women – Lousia May Alcott
Honestly, I’m not even sure why, because I know this story deals with more than Christmas. But I always remember the Christmas and winter bits – ice skating, the dances, singing around the piano… its basically just a whole bunch of Christmases!
Harry Potter – JK Rowling
If there was ever a book series that screamed Christmas, it has to be Harry Potter. Christmas at Hogwarts descriptions are some of my most favourite Christmas descriptions ever! They just sound so … magical – for want of a better word!
The Night Before Christmas – Clement C. Moore
Okay this one is specifically Christmas! But how can I have a Christmas themed book post without mentioning this one? It’s one of the most famous poems and stories that is loved by children and adults. You cant really have a Christmas without it, can you?
