Have you ever picked up a book purely because the cover was pretty? That was why I picked up the first book in The Selection series. I just couldn’t go past the girl in the pretty dress! I loved that dress!

Thoughts:
This book is basically like The Bachelor meets The Hunger Games. So if you like either of these, you’ll probably want to give The Selection a go. I loved the characters, as infuriating as they may be at times! This book led my poor heart into an ultimate ship war as well. Do I ship Maxon or Aspen? And I cant tell you how many times that changed!
This is a really easy and sweet read. It’s nothing groundbreaking, but its completely adorable and I recommend it to anyone who loves a good romance – with a bit of political action thrown in! Grab a copy here 🙂

The series in total has 5 books, but they change protagonist after the first three. So you can just read the first three and have a complete story! 😊 I actually read most of these on my kindle app where they were a little cheaper too! If you get them, I hope you enjoy them!
