Happy Thursday! I love Thursday’s. It’s almost the end of the week! You can *almost* taste the weekend! And it’s time for Top 3 Thursday! And the topic for this week is Villains/Antagonists! Everyone loves a villain right?
1. The Darkling from The Grishaverse series by Leigh Bardugo
I have VERY strong feelings about The Darkling. And they’re generally not nice ones. I don’t think there’s anything redeemable about his character. Which makes him a great villain!
2. Professor Umbridge from Harry Potter by JK Rowling
I’m sorry – did you have to exist? Like I’m pretty sure you’re actually worse than Voldemort. Take your terrible taste in crockery and quills and leave. Kthxbai.
3. Queen Levana from The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer
Giiirrllll you actually crazy! Like, sure we all trick people into loving us, and try to burn our family. That’s totally normal. And let’s not forget threatening basically all of earth. So much fun!
These are some villains that I actually completely dislike. There’s LOTS of villains who are still villains, buuut you can kind of understand their side… AIDAN, anyone?
