Top 3 Thursday – Books I wish I could read again for the first time

Hello again friends,

Sorry for the delay in posts! I’ve been away, and getting back into work is always an experience, right? But here we are with a new Top 3 Thursday!

Today’s topic is ‘books I wish I could read again for the first time’ – this list could almost be endless. Because there are so many books I wish I could experience the wonder of again! But the Top 3 – here we go!

  1. The Harry Potter series – J.K. Rowling

Are you even a reader if this isn’t one of your Top 3? (Kidding! Jokessss – you’re still a reader!!) But for reals – this is one world that I wish I could find out about again for the first time. Can you imagine being able to read them all again – with the entire series being out as well? And not having to wait for years between the books? Honestly, this will always be the number one I wish I could reread.

2. Illuminae – Amie Kaufmann and Jay Kristoff

This book blew my mind. I will NEVER get over how much this book took me by surprise, and threw everything back in my face. It was SUCH an amazing book to read for the first time, and while its still amazing, I would love to experience that twist alllll over again.

3. Caraval – Stephanie Garber

I must like plot twists in books! I would choose Caraval because again, it took me by surprise! I loved the carnival theme, and the magic and mystery that surrounded all the characters. And not even just this book – I would include Legendary in this as well! They’re so well-written and kept me right on the edge of my seat the whole time!

As always, go check out the wonderful Mel over at A Cosy Reading Blog and join in Top 3 Thursdays!

Happy readings loves,

– B x
